The Walk of Fame American Diner restaurant concept was born from the concept of an American restaurant open in bar areas of London providing large and fatty meals to members of the British bar and club scene, who may find themselves more susceptible to gimmicky marketing strategies, such as an over the top American aesthetic.
BRANDing
The branding for this project was built heavily on over-the-top kitschy American aesthetics, taking inspiration primarily from the title and color treatment of movies from the 1950's, and some pop art influences as well.
paired with a 50 item menu with a dish representing each state, in the form of a reference to either a movie or culturally relevant piece of history related to said state.
Expansion of Brand
After creating the general brand and the menu, other applications were considered as well. Keeping in mind with the American theme a baseball caps with a full color option and a one color option, were a fun and thematic choice.
